Madhya Pradesh is

Home to a number of animals, birds and reptiles, the Panna Wildlife Sanctuary is a natural lover’s paradise. Besides animals, the Panna National Park is also home to a number of exotic species of trees and plants. The park has also played a very important role in determining the culture of the country and references to it can be founds in the Indian epics like the Mahabharata. Besides this, the area is also well-known for its diamond mines and visiting the park can be combined with a visit to the Panna Diamond Mines, India’s only diamond mine.

A typically tropical climate prevails in the Panna Wildlife Sanctuary with the summer temperatures averaging around 31.4°C which drop to about 13.5°C during the winters. Monsoons are moderate and stretch between the months of July to mid-September.
