Located at a distance of 93 kms from Nagpur, Pench National park is situated along the interstate border of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Unlimited by the political borders, the park stretches to the state of Maharashtra as well, where it is known by the same name.
Located between latitude 21°40' in the North and longitude 79°15' in the east, the park enjoys a Tropical climate reflected in its Tropical Moist deciduous forest cover. With its commitment towards the conservation of Tigers, it was recently declared as the 19th Tiger Reserve under Project Tiger. Though popular for its Tiger and Leopard tours, the dedicated staff at the Park is equally proactive in the preservation of the multifarious flora and fauna of the Park.
When to Visit Pench National Park:
the best time to visit is from May to June, which coincides with the summer time in the region. That is when the people-shy inhabitants of this Park come out for recess in the cool surroundings of the pools and other water bodies that dot the area.

Sonegaon Airport at Nagpur (93 kms) is the nearest air terminal. Regular flights operate back and forth Nagpur from Mumbai.
By Rail:
The Seoni Railway Station at a distance of 30 km from the Park is the nearest Railhead to the Park.
By Road:
An extensive network of roads connects Seoni to almost all the major cities and towns in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
