Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary is one of most renowned and important wildlife sanctuaries in East India. To reach there, you can avail of the following means –

By Air

Located 97 km form Kaziranga, Jorhat is the nearest airport to reach Kaziranga National Park. The airport is connected by regular flights from Guwahati and Kolkata. The other important airport in close proximity is at Guwahati, about 217 km away from Kaziranga.

By Road

Kaziranga is connected to other notable cities in Assam by buses and taxis by means of an extensive network of roads. Kaziranga National Park can be approached from either side via National Highway 37, leading to Guwahati (220 km) in the west and to Jorhat (90 km) in the east.

By Rail

The nearest railhead is Furkating, situated 75 km away from the Kaziranga National Park in Kaziranga. Direct trains from Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai reach Furkating. A well-laid rail network links Furkating to Guwahati and other key railway stations in the region.
