Elephant Safari:
Take an early dawn elephant back safari. Let the authorized mahout guide show you the right routes of the animals you are dying to spot. Don’t forget to obtain the entry permit, available from the park administration centre at Ramnagar.
Bird Watching:
Corbett Wildlife Sanctuary offers great bird watching opportunities with its colorful avian life which lists more than 580 species of birds. Darters, cormorants, egrets, herons, the black-necked stork, the spur winged lapwings are to name a few. The sanctuary attracts many migratory birds most of which are water birds. Some of the guests are graylag, bareheaded goose, duck, snipe, sandpiper, gull and wagtail.
Mahaseer Fishing:
The river Ramganga is rich in mahaseer, a good betting fish and a natural angler’s delight. Although angling is not permitted inside the sanctuary, but you can get it arranged around the sanctuary as fishing trips at all the best spots can be customized.
