Ranthambore Fort: Constructed by the
Chauhans, the Ranthambore fort was managed by The Maharaja of Jaipur in the 17th century. Located on a high plateau of over 700 feet, The Ranthambore Fort gives a bird’s eye view of Ranthambore National Park. Come and spend an entire day exploring the fascinating Ranthambore Fort!

Other than the Ranthambore Fort, the three lakes around the fort are also considered to be Ranthambore Wildlife Special:

Padam Talao: the large lake in Ranthambore National Park gets its name from the lotus flowers that bloom in the lake. You can watch Tigers, leopards, deer, monkeys and peacocks drinking at the lakes edge. There are Machans or huts on observation posts near the Padam Talo from where you can an excellent view of the animals in Ranthambore National Park.

Rajbagh Talao: The second largest of the three lakes in Ranthambore, the Rajbagh Talao contains ruins that extend to the edge of the lake. The swamp deer or graze on the water plants in the lake, some animals also drink water from this lake. Tigers can often be seen near the Rajbagh Talao.

Malik Talao: The Malik Talao is the smallest in surface area of the three lakes in Ranthambore National Park. It is the bird watcher’s paradise.for it’s many species of birds seen on its banks and within the lake. Kingfishers, egrets, herons, ibis, storks and cranes can be seen around the Malik Talao. You can also find crocodiles in the Malik Talao.
