Mudumalai wildlife sanctuary
The Mudumalai wildlife sanctuary lies in the Southern and South western side of the Nilgiris in Tamil Nadu. The chital (spotted deer), gaur (Indian bison), tiger, panther, wild boar and sloth bear are found here. The Park's wild elephants population is the largest in the country.
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
Located in Kerala it is home to tigers and Indian elephants.
Wayanad wildlife sanctuary
